¿Qué es Tipografía?
Tipografía (proviene del griego typos, forma, y de graphein, escribir) es la forma mas antigua de impresión. Es el oficio que relaciona las letras números y símbolos de un texto, tiene distintos tipos de diseño, forma, tamaño.
¿Qué importancia tienen las letras y números?
La verdad esta pregunta no es de mi agrado, es como si yo les preguntara ¿porque el auto se llama auto? muy poca relevancia a mi parecer. Las letras y los números ya están, todo nació con símbolos, imagenes, que era necesario para transmitir información, los sonidos eran muy limitados y sin ningún tipo de estética. Nuestros antepasados comenzaron a comunicarse con símbolos estos fueron las primeras letras y números, una primera tipografía. Con el tiempo esto empezó a evolucionar a lo que tenemos ahora que es un idioma bien conformado.
Pensemos un poco...sin letras, sin números ¿podría yo entregar este mensaje? ¿podría yo escribir? que es lo esencial, ¿podría yo transferir información?
